Looks amazing, definitely improving imo. Criticism in art is good to take with a grain of salt because the definition of good art from one artist or a professor can vary so dramatically between everyone it'll make your head spin. Teaching certain techniques is something I see as being viable but to dismiss another persons style is foolish and you're definitely developing an awesome style. I'm no artist myself but it seems the most beautiful things have a personal touch or mistakes here and there. This is what makes them stand out amongst the thousands and thousands of others trying to adhere to some uniform idea. Keep it up! I still have your work hanging above my computer desk from years ago!
